About Vikram Vedha Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (1 Day To Go): Madness Is Missing After Brahmastra Rage, Positive Reviews Might Just Do Wonders – City-Wise Report

We are just a day away from Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram Vedha. The film is clashing with a pan-India biggie Ponniyin Selvan 1. However, this film is expected to work wonders in the Hindi market and stay unaffected at the box office by the clash. Let’s see how it is performing so far in advance booking by taking a look at major Indian cities.

Vikram, a pragmatic policeman, and his partner Simon are on the hunt to capture Vedha. When Vedha voluntarily surrenders, he offers to tell Vikram a story, throwing Vikram's life into disarray.

As of Thursday, at 8.30 pm, Vikram Vedha has sold approximately 1.50 lakh tickets across India, resulting in an all-India gross in the north of Rs 3.75 crores. With three and a half hours more to go, Vikram Vedha is sure to cross the Rs. 4.25 crore mark nationwide.

Mumbai

Vikram Vedha is surprisingly low in Mumbai despite the huge following of Hrithik Roshan. As of now, just 7-10% are filling fast. It seems that it will pick up the momentum tomorrow once FDFS reports come in.

Delhi-NCR

Delhi-NCR is no different as it is showing stays exactly similar to Mumbai with around 10% filling fast shows. This region performed extremely well for Brahmastra and the current response is shocking.

Bengaluru

Bengaluru is decent and slightly better than the above-mentioned regions. As of now, 15-18% shows are showing almost full occupancy in day 1 advance booking. With still almost a day remaining, a good number is expected.

Hyderabad

Hyderabad is showing around 15% filling fast shows and has now started picking up.

Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad is showing an extremely dull response in advance booking for Vikram Vedha. The count of filling fast shows is below 5% so far. Needs miraculous growth!

Pune, Kolkata and Chennai

Pune is putting on a poor performance with hardly any show in filling fast mode. Kolkata has 5-10% of almost packed house shows. Chennai is the best of all with 35-40% shows in filling fast mode.

As one can see, the advance booking is not up to the mark for Vikram Vedha. With positive critics’ reviews flowing now, things are expected to change from here on.

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's film Vikram Vedha is just hours away to hit the theatres, and ahead of the release, Sussanne Khan has shared her reviews on the film. Calling the movie one of her "favourite movies ever," she said that the film is going to be a "huge blockbuster". In her note, she congratulated Hrithik, Saif and the entire team for this tremendous entertainer. She wrote, "RA RA RA RA...Rooooom this is by far one of my favourite movies ever!!! Superrrrbly gripping and full of Thrillssss!! Congratulations @hrithikroshan @saifalikhan_online and the entire team... for this tremendous entertainer!!! this one is going to be a huggge BLOCKBUSTER." Sussanne Khan is Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife.

Helmed by director duo Pushkar and Gayatri, the movie also stars Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf. The movie is the remake of the hit 2017 film of the same name, starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. In the Hindi version, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of a cop named Vikram, while Hrithik Roshan plays the role of a gangster named Vedha

The story of Vikram Betaal is a classic. A king named Vikram who has a ghoul, Betaal, stuck to his back asking him to narrate stories if he wants to seek freedom from his clutches is a childhood favourite of many. The plot lights up every corner of our imagination because the idea of storytelling is universal. Any sentence that begins with the words ‘Once upon a time, long, long ago.’ is destined to capture our attention. That's exactly what directors Pushkar and Gayatri’s film Vikram Vedha is.
